My family and I built the house we are currently in around 3yrs ago. Our family was expanding so of course we needed the extra room. We paid a little extra on the plot so the back of the house would face a wooded area instead of a slob’s backyard. There is a community playground and it’s only about 6 houses down but we did not feel comfortable just letting the kids unsupervised to walk down and play. So we saved our pennies and we purchased a nice jungle gym or swing set. We did the right thing and got the nice wooden one that is appealing and not cheap looking so it’s not an eyesore for our neighbors, (who also have kids by the way). Our back yard is pretty good size for a city lot so we didn’t want to fence in our yard or impede our view of the nice woods so it’s all open.
Last week our neighbor informed us that an older Chinese man and a little boy were using our swing set. And if that is not rude enough, the little boy must have had to use the restroom and proceeded to pee in our flower beds. Apparently the older gentleman felt the urge as well and was about to make water when my neighbor went out to tell them this is a private swing set and to go home or she is going to call the cops.
I was in a state of shock and awe when she told me this. The NERVE to use somebody else’s playground equipment and on top of that, peeing in their yard. What in the HELL is going through these people’s minds. I guess I had better be head to Lowes so I can start building my GREAT WALL.
